Creator Terms — NetMovIA

Version dated 22 October 2026 · 2.0

1. Purpose and contractual hierarchy

These Creator Terms define the rules applicable to users who submit, publish and distribute audiovisual works on NetMovIA.

They supplement the general Terms and Subscriber Terms. In the event of inconsistency, these Creator Terms prevail for Creator status, publication and distribution of Creator content.

At the date of this update, access to NetMovIA streaming and to the Deposit Studio is free.

The generation and editing Studio uses NetMoviz obtained through one-time pack purchases or gifts from the administration. There is no Studio subscription or automatic renewal. Prices, credit validity, technical refunds and customer rights are set out in the Studio terms.

Founding Creator badge: any user who has effectively obtained Creator status no later than 31 December 2026 at 23:59:59 is awarded the Founding Creator badge. From 1 January 2027 at 00:00, no new Creator can obtain this badge.

If access to NetMovIA streaming or to the basic Creator mode later becomes paid, holders of the Founding Creator badge will retain free lifetime access to the corresponding basic service. This lifetime benefit does not include the separate generation/editing Studio, generation credits, paid APIs, credit packs or other services billed by usage or credits, unless NetMovIA expressly announces otherwise.

2. Access to Creator status

Publishing features are reserved for adult users (18+) with a NetMovIA account and a verified e-mail address.

To become a Creator, the user must:

Creator status becomes effective only when the first work is published. Before that, the user remains a Subscriber/Viewer.

3. Creator mode, Deposit Studio and separate generation Studio

The Deposit Studio allows registered users to submit works created on NetMovIA or with external tools. Submission and publication on NetMovIA do not currently require a Creator subscription.

NetMovIA also provides registered users with access to a separate generation and editing Studio that may offer image, video, audio, voice, music and editing tools through different models and third-party technical providers. The available models and providers may change over time.

The generation and editing Studio uses NetMoviz obtained through one-time pack purchases or gifts from the administration. There is no Studio subscription or automatic renewal. Prices, credit validity, technical refunds and customer rights are set out in the Studio terms.

Founding Creator status does not, by itself, entitle you to free NetMoviz.

4. Creator avatars, Stars and Studio-credit rewards

4.1 Creator / Subscriber avatars

Creator and Subscriber cosmetic systems are distinct. Creator avatars are available in Creator mode, while Subscriber avatars are available in viewer mode.

4.2 Creator avatars

Creator mode gives access to the Creator avatar collection. These avatars are cosmetic and do not affect ranking, visibility, valid-view counting or eligibility for Awards.

4.3 Creator Stars (progression based on valid views)

Creator Stars are based on the Creator's cumulative valid views:

A valid view requires authenticated viewing reaching the applicable threshold for the video’s duration, with no fraud or automation signals. The same user may generate only one validated view per video over the lifetime of that video. NetMovIA may adjust technical anti-fraud criteria prospectively to protect the integrity of the system.

Since 22 October 2026 at 09:35 UTC, new compatible web viewings follow a progressive scale: 80% for videos up to 3 minutes, 70% at 10 minutes, and 60% at 20 minutes or more; thresholds between these durations are linearly interpolated. Legacy playback protocols, including the current Android TV pathway, retain the 80% threshold. Previously validated views and past results are preserved without retroactive recalculation.

Difference between public content views and Creator valid views

Public content views: the counter displayed on a film, episode, series or content page represents the content's validated unique views. The Creator's own account may be included once per video if the Creator reaches the applicable viewing threshold under the required conditions. For a series, views may be added episode by episode, so the Creator may appear once on each episode they have watched.

Creator valid views: for Creator Stars, rank and Creator leaderboards, views made by the Creator on their own content are excluded. Only validated views generated by other users are counted, so a Creator cannot artificially increase their own progression.

Example: if a series displays 200 public views and 20 of those views come from the Creator viewing different episodes of their own series, the Creator's progression will be 180 valid Creator views, subject to the other applicable validation rules.

Creator valid views already earned may remain part of the Creator's cumulative history even if the corresponding content is later removed from the Platform.

4.4 Gifted NetMoviz and rewards

These terms do not currently provide automatic NetMoviz bonuses for an approved submission or reaching a star milestone. Any future programme will have separate rules announced before launch. Gifts granted by the administration are separate from cash remuneration and follow the Studio terms.

5. Published content and Creator obligations

5.1 Nature and presentation of content

Creators may publish films, series, shorts, trailers, music videos and other eligible audiovisual works, including works created with artificial-intelligence tools or through the NetMovIA Studio.

It is strictly prohibited to publish pornographic or sexually explicit content, child sexual abuse material, content that glorifies violence or terrorism, incites hatred or discrimination, is defamatory, infringes intellectual-property or personality rights, uses a recognisable person’s image or voice without the required authorisation, or is obtained by circumventing technical protection measures. Horror, gore or intensely violent content may be accepted when it is lawful, properly classified and subject to the applicable age restrictions. NetMovIA may refuse, restrict or remove content where its level of violence, context or presentation creates legal risk or breaches the Platform rules.

Presentation rule: submitted works must not contain embedded subtitles or a promotional watermark/logo displayed throughout playback. Artistic or production credits may appear at the beginning and/or end of the work. This rule must never result in removing, hiding or altering any marking, provenance information, transparency notice or metadata that must be retained by law or is necessary to comply with an applicable obligation relating to the use of an AI tool. NetMovIA may reject a non-compliant file or request a corrected version.

5.2 Rights in the elements used

The Creator represents and warrants that they hold all rights necessary to publish their content on NetMovIA, including rights in images, videos, music, voices, scripts, logos, trademarks and any other element included in the work.

When using third-party APIs or AI tools, the Creator must strictly comply with their terms of use (for example, restrictions on commercial use under free plans, geographic restrictions or licence limitations). NetMovIA is not responsible for the Creator’s non-compliant use of those services.

Where the applicable rules require it at the Creator’s level, the Creator must retain provenance information or markings and provide the transparency notices needed to indicate that content has been generated or manipulated by artificial intelligence. This obligation depends on the nature of the work and the applicable rules, without prejudice to obligations that may separately apply to NetMovIA or technical providers.

The Creator is responsible for breaches attributable to them of the representations, warranties and obligations in this section. If a third-party claim is directly connected with such a breach, the Creator will cooperate in good faith with NetMovIA so that the claim can be reviewed and handled.

Any indemnification that may be owed by the Creator is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the direct consequences of a breach attributable to the Creator that are finally imposed on NetMovIA or reasonably incurred for its defence after the Creator has been informed. It does not cover NetMovIA’s own fault and does not deprive either party of any mandatory rights that apply to it.

5.3. Reports, moderation and appeals

5.3.1 Submitting a report

Any person or entity may report content believed to be unlawful or contrary to the terms, without an account or playback access, using the button on a film, series or short's information panel, the button below the player, the Report content page, or an e-mail to contact@netmovia.com.

Provide the exact link, a sufficiently precise and substantiated explanation, relevant passages or timestamps, your name and e-mail, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations are accurate and complete. The exception to contact details for sexual offences involving children covered by Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU is available in the form. Do not send copies of illegal content or unnecessary personal data. Further information may be requested; a formal defect does not disregard information enabling clearly unlawful content to be identified.

5.3.2 Receipt and assessment

Following successful registration through the form, a numbered, dated receipt can be saved or downloaded. It does not prove that an e-mail has been sent. If an electronic address is provided, NetMovIA sends an acknowledgement without undue delay, then communicates its decision and the applicable redress options. These communications are currently handled manually.

A person assesses reports diligently, objectively and proportionately, considering urgency and the parties' rights. A report does not trigger automatic removal. Depending on the facts, NetMovIA may retain or remove the content, restrict access or take a proportionate account measure. Urgent action may precede exchanges; no uniform 48-hour deadline is guaranteed or used to defer necessary action.

5.3.3 Decision and information

Where a restriction is imposed for illegality or a breach of the terms, the affected creator receives a clear explanation, at the latest when it takes effect and where electronic contact details are known: the measure, its scope and possible duration, facts and circumstances, legal or contractual grounds, any use of automated means and redress options. Statutory exceptions remain applicable. The reporter's identity is not routinely disclosed, but only where disclosure is necessary and lawful.

5.3.4 Requesting a review

The reporter or creator may request a free review at contact@netmovia.com, specifying the case reference, disputed decision and reasons. A person examines the request and provides a reasoned response; an acknowledged error leads to correction of the decision and necessary remedial measures. This process does not remove access to courts or legally applicable out-of-court remedies, specified in the notification. Consumer mediation mentioned elsewhere does not replace remedies specific to moderation.

Removing content following a moderation decision may permanently erase the files hosted for that content. The Creator must keep a copy of their source files. Erasing the files does not remove the right to challenge the decision.

If NetMovIA acknowledges a moderation error, it corrects its decision and assists with restoring the content online at no cost to the Creator and without undue delay. Where the files cannot be restored, uploading them again through the Submission Studio may be necessary. This upload serves to restore the content; it does not replace the review of the decision.

5.3.5 Data and responsibilities

Reports, decisions and communications are tracked. Data, access and retention criteria are described in the privacy policy. Necessary information may be disclosed to authorities where provided for by law. Creators remain responsible for rights and obligations relating to their content; NetMovIA's own obligations and users' mandatory rights remain applicable. These clauses are not a general exclusion of liability.

6. Intellectual property and licence granted to NetMovIA

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the Creator remains the holder of the intellectual property rights in their works and keeps full copyright.

By uploading content to the Platform, the Creator grants NetMovIA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

NetMovIA does not resell Creators’ content to third parties and does not license it for uses outside the Platform, unless a specific written agreement is signed with the relevant Creator.

This licence remains in force for as long as the content is available on the Platform and ends within a maximum of 30 days after the effective removal of the content, in order to allow for the necessary technical operations (cache purge, CDN, playlists, etc.).

7. Awards, promotional rewards and absence of automatic revenue sharing

NetMovIA does not currently operate any general subscription-revenue sharing system for Creators. In particular, the former 30% Creator Fund model is no longer applicable and creates no right to payment.

7.1 NetMovIA Awards

NetMovIA may organise the NetMovIA Awards programme and related distinctions. As of this update, the announced reward for the applicable monthly Award is €100, subject to the specific rules of the relevant edition.

Awards are occasional rewards and do not constitute salary, royalties, guaranteed income or a permanent right to payment. Eligibility, valid-view rules, ties, payment arrangements, exclusions and fraud rules are defined in the specific Award rules. NetMovIA may change the amount or format for future editions by updating those rules.

7.2 Gifted NetMoviz and rewards

These terms do not currently provide automatic NetMoviz bonuses for an approved submission or reaching a star milestone. Any future programme will have separate rules announced before launch. Gifts granted by the administration are separate from cash remuneration and follow the Studio terms.

7.3 Fraud and integrity

Bots, automated views, coordinated self-viewing, multi-account manipulation and any attempt to artificially increase views, Stars, Awards eligibility or promotional credits are prohibited. NetMovIA may cancel fraudulent views or benefits, suspend the account and take any proportionate action permitted by law.

8. Personal data

In the Creator relationship, NetMovIA processes data required for account management, publication, moderation, fraud prevention and support, including username, e-mail address, connection data, upload metadata and activity logs.

Where a cash Award or prize is paid, NetMovIA or its payment provider may also process the information strictly necessary to make the payment and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Details of processing, retention periods and user rights are described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Term, suspension and termination

These Creator Terms apply for as long as the Creator account remains active.

The Creator may request removal of their content and/or closure of their account using the available tools or support procedures. The licence granted to NetMovIA ends in accordance with Article 6 and any stated technical removal period.

NetMovIA may restrict, suspend or terminate a Creator account for serious or repeated breaches, unlawful content, rights infringement, fraud, manipulation of views or rewards, or circumvention of security systems.

Account closure or termination may result in loss of access to account-linked badges and promotional benefits. A Founding Creator badge may also be withdrawn where it was obtained through fraud, false information or an attribution error.

10. Changes to the Creator Terms

NetMovIA may amend these Creator Terms to take account of service developments, regulatory changes or industry practices.

In the event of a substantial change, the Creator will be informed by an appropriate means (Platform notification, e-mail, etc.) with reasonable prior notice. Where express consent is required by law or by the nature of the change, it will be obtained before the change applies. In other cases, the new version applies prospectively from its effective date and does not retroactively alter rights attached to a transaction already concluded. The Creator may stop using the affected features before that date if they do not accept the change.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Creator Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute and failing an amicable resolution, the courts having jurisdiction under the applicable law may be seized. In particular, this clause does not deprive a consumer of mandatory territorial-jurisdiction or protection rules that apply to them.
